Day 21: Step Away from the Scale!

Seriously, the scale is not your friend. Your worth is not measured by the number on the scale and the scale is NOT an accurate representation of your progress. Do you feel healthy? More energetic? You know you’re making healthy choices, so skip the scale and just feel good about yourself!

Day 20: Quitting or Course Correction

I talk a lot about NOT quitting, NOT giving up, but sometimes quitting is the right thing to do. When what you’re doing is not working, or your dream is not your dream anymore, stop wasting your energy and take stock. Sometimes quitting is just a course correction that needs to happen to realize your dream.

Day 19: Gratitude

There is always something to be grateful for. Focusing on gratitude attracts to you more things to be grateful for. It also improves your mood and mindset when you switch your focus from what you’re unhappy about to what you’re grateful for.

Day 18: Intermittent Fasting

Sometimes, it’s good to give your body a rest for the job of digesting and let it do its healing work.

Day 17: Why is it so hard for us to ask for help?

“We’re all just walking each other home.” ~Ram Dass
Why is it so hard for us to ask for help? We’re all here together, each with different abilities, and the desire to help each other, but you have to ask!

Day 16: Adding New Foods

Instead of thinking about eliminating foods from your diet, how about adding in new foods? I added in a wheat grass green smoothie (with plenty of fruit for yumminess) and now I have no desire for some of the less healthy foods that I had been craving.

Wanting to improve your health? What new food can you try that might be a nutritious addition to your diet?

Day 15: Food and Mood

What you eat can affect your mood. By now, most of us know how sugar can contribute to depression and anxiety, but other nutrient deficiencies and imbalances can also affect your mood.

Day 14: Self-Care and Nutrition

Sometimes you need to just stop and take time away from everything. Not only feeling burned out physically and emotionally, I also noticed a lot of my unhealthy food cravings had come back. I got some help to determine what it is my body was missing and I’m adding in new foods. Over a month later and I’m still loving my green smoothies with wheat grass powder, greens, avocado, and fruit.

Day 13: This is for Mom

I posted this one on Mother’s Day… a personal message of love and gratitude for my Mom. I got a bit choked up and had to end abruptly. My Mom is awesome.

Day 12: You Are Beautiful

I’m talking about body image and beauty. Doing these videos for 30 days has really triggered some of my self image crap, as you might imagine, looking at myself in the video every day. It’s actually been a healing exercise. People aren’t seeing ONLY your physical being when the look at you. They’re seeing all that you are, and you are beautiful exactly the way you are. You are radiant when you are authentically you, doing what gives you joy, sharing your passion. Shine your light, Gorgeous!
